These fresh perishable items are not accepted for carriage as baggage. In some cases these items may be accepted as transporting luggage and passengers must bear all risks of damage that may occur during shipping process. These fresh items are ensured to be packaged. Packaging must be sure to avoid causing damage to other luggage. Vietnam Airlines will not refund excess baggage and compensation for this fresh items seized in cases of prescribed quarantine at the airport or on the way to the airport.
Liquids
In flights of VN Airlines, each passenger is allowed to take no more than 1 liter of fluid in the hand luggage. Except for liquids, gels and aerosol types including medicines, food or milk for infants, dietary or liquids purchased at duty-free shops at the airport or purchased on board.
All liquids must be packed in bottles, glass jars, jars with capacity of not exceeding 100ml and completely closed. All bottles, jars, jugs of liquid have to fit in a pocket transparent plastic. Each passenger may only carry one plastic bag containing liquids.
Medication must be accompanied by a prescription stating full name and address of the prescription or doctor, name and address of the passenger. Milk, food for babies are used for babies on board.
The liquids purchased at duty-free shops at the airports or on aircraft is exempted from limitations as prescribed above, and must be packed in transparent plastic bags of these stores with stipulated sealed, and receipt/invoice inside.

The visa exemption for citizens of Azerbaijan

The governments of Vietnam and Azerbaijan signed an agreement on the visa exemption on 09th-Apr-2010. So, the citizens of two countries will be exempt from the date whom the start effect is 21st-Aug-2010.
The details are in the following cases:

- The citizens of Vietnam and Azerbaijan are holding the diplomatic or official passports are still valid; it covers as well as their family members, which are in the adolescent age, listed in the passports. They will get the free visa in the period of stay not exceeding 01 months after the entry, stay, exit or transit through the territory of the rest country.

- The citizens of one of the two countries are holding the diplomatic or official passports are still valid, after entry into the remaining country's territory as members of representative bodies such as diplomatic or consular and international organizations; it includes their family members, who are living with them. These people will have to do the registration at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the rest country to be received.

Hung King Festival 2014 recalls heroic era

Annually, on the 10th day of the third month in lunar calendar, people from everywhere in Vietnam and international tourists come to Phu Tho to join Hung King Festival. This is one of important festivals in the country.

Bronze Drums

Hung Temple historical relic is located in Co Tich Hamlet, Hy Chuong Commune in Viet Tri City (Phu Tho) where Hung kings founded Vietnam country. This temple is considered the oldest temple in Vietnam, in according to historical studies. For thousands of years, in legend, Lac Long Quan and Au Co, parents of Hung Kings are seen as the ancestors of Vietnamese people. Hung Temple is not just the place of ethnic and national origin, but also a reverent icon, spiritual convergence and national unity. Hung Festival is an anniversary of Hung Kings’ death. This is an important national festival in Vietnam to memorize and gratitude the merits of Hung Kings, the first emperors of the nation.
