Vietnam Airlines launched new gratitude event

As usual, at the end of the year, Vietnam airlines organized an event to thank all members, who has actively contributed to its development. Besides, the mobile app for Golden Lotus members was also introduced in this event.
Vietnam Air new event was held on the occasion of the Golden Lotus 14-year anniversary with the participation of more than 400 million-mile members. At Gratitude night party, Leadership of Vietnam Airlines Corporation honored many members, including members having the biggest contribution to Vietnam Airlines since the establishment of frequent customer program and those accumulating most bonus miles in 2013.
According to Mr. Pham Ngoc Minh, General Director of Air Vietnam, Golden Lotus program has been more familiar with politicians or businessmen having busy schedules. Free flights, many preferential services such as procedures, waiting room, priority baggage and others from this program have contributed to the success of passenger business. Therefore, many entrepreneurs, especially politicians and Vietnam businessmen has been increasingly confident to take Vietnam Airlines flights. As a result, this 14th birthday, Golden Lotus program was very pleased to announce their figure of 600 thousand members, of which 7500/8000 Vietnam Platinum members.
Moreover, in order to promote the IT system upgrading as a comprehensive platform for the oriented development of Vietnam Airlines in the future, the event presented to members the new mobile app with modern utilities and functionality. The new launched product is not only modern, suitable with the trend of general aviation development in the world, but also the gift of gratitude to passengers of Vietnam Airways.
The application is designed to run on two popular operating systems, including iOS and Android with outstanding functionalities and stability. Therefore, in whole Vietnam Airlines flight network, passengers can easily update their personal information, photo identification, lookup accumulating air miles and send all requests to GLP program.
Expectedly, Vietnam airline will continue to develop other functions in mobile application such as online bonus payment, online booking and ticketing and online check-in procedures for members.
