- Malaysia has different means of transportation. The most convenient vehicle is taxi. It is recommended to choose taxi drivers who are older Chinese and can speak a little English.
- Malaysia is a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural country; therefore it is quite difficult to control rape and robbery. Tourists should not bring high valuable items in hand bags, not go out alone at night.
- If going by taxi in the evening, visitors should pay attention to the attitude of the driver, especially while the driver is listening to the phone call in and call out as a precaution.
- Note that police in Malaysia do not regular patrol on the road, so when police suddenly appear and ask to check your passport, papers or wallet,  you should request that they put on the police settlement to avoid fake police. If you see policemen without uniform, you must find ways to deny and say ingeniously that papers and wallet send in hotel or ask for help from locals. So, when going out, tourists should always carry the hotel’s phone number to call them for help in sudden incident.
