Unaccompanied Minor service

In order to improve services to meet the needs of passengers, Vietnam Airlines has introduced many special services such as UMNR. UMNR service is offered for children at the age from 2 years up to 12 years old who travel without their parents, guardians or authorized people.
UMNR service for children between 2 and under 4 years old:
Conditions of carriage:

According to Vietnam Airlines Fares, passengers must book and pay for accompanied cabin crew service. The faire of the service is equal to the ticket faire of an adult in the same class. Each cabin crew is responsible for one child.
Time for booking accompanied cabin crew service: Must be booked at least 3 days before the estimated time of departure of domestic flights and at least 5 days before the internationals flights
This service is only available on Economy class

UMNR service for children between 4 and under 6 years old:
Conditions of carriage:

According to Vietnam Airlines, passengers must book and pay for accompanied cabin crew service. The cost of the service is equal to the ticket faire of an adult in the same class. Each cabin crew is responsible for one child.
Time for booking accompanied crew service: Must be booked at least 3 days before the estimated time of departure of domestic flights and at least 5 days before the internationals flights
This service is only available on Economy class

UMNR service for children between 6 and under 15 years old
Conditions of carriage:

According to VN Airlines, passengers are not required to book the accompanied crew service. If passengers want to book the accompanied cabin crew service, they must book and pay for the service. The cost of the service is equal to the ticket faire of an adult in the same class.
The UM service must be booked at least 24 hours before the estimated time of departure
The UM service is available on Business, Deluxe Economy and Economy Class. The number of children seats of UM service must not exceed 10% of the total business seats in each flight.
